What do I have to do to participate in the Everybody Eats Leadership Program?
Applicants must complete the form and submit the non-refundable $150 application fee in order to be considered. Accepted applicants will be given the Everybody Eats Leadership Curriculum to guide them as they work with their summer hire. There will be mandatory orientation for all participants and (1) group virtual check-in during the Everybody Eats Leadership Program.

When does the program start?
Cohort Three begins Monday October 7 2024.
Cohort Four dates are to be determined starting in November.

Can I submit multiple roles to be filled?
Cohort Three and Four can only allow one hire per worksite.

When do I find out if I've been accepted?
Cohort Three Leaders will be notified in September. Intern introductions will be made before September 15, 2024.
Cohort Four Leaders will be notified on a rolling basis after June 1, 2024.

I don't have a physical worksite. Can I particpate?
Remote worksites are not eligible at this time.

How will my summer hire work if my worksite is remote only?
Not Applicable for Cohort Three & Four.

Does my application automatically enroll me in this program?
All applicants will be carefully reviewed and Cohort Three applicants will be notified of your application status on or before September 15, 2024.

Do we process any paperwork for our hire?
Your new hire will be onboarded by our non-profit partners and will be acquainted with how to submit hours. Any questions about time sheets should be directed to your site coordinator.

Can I put age restrictions on who works at my company?
You can indicate whether you require your hire to be 18+ or 21+.

Is there someone I can speak to about my working experience with my employee?
You will be able to contact your site coordinator to answer any questions about working with your young person. Your site coordinator will also be scheduling time for periodic touch bases.

How will my site coach check-in if I'm remote only?
Not applicable for Cohort Three and Four.

Will my hire be a student?
Avenues for Justice bring in young people ages 16 - 24 who may or may not be enrolled in school.

Can I bring in someone I know to work with me?
New hires are selected by lottery and we have no control over who wlll be selected. New hires are matched based on their interest in your worksite.

What kind of work hours can I assign?
Your new hire can work weekdays or weekends, but the work hours for the week cannot exceed 15 hours.

What kind of work can I give my new hire?
Your work is determined by the roles you made available when you applied. The Dinner Party NYC will provide you the Everybody Eats Leadership Template for you to complete to ensure your leadership skills are developing as you are implementing your work tasks.

Can I participate in both Cohort Three and Four?
Please indicate in your application whether you'd like to participate in both cohorts for the Fall.

How long do I have to think about applying?
The deadline to apply for the Everybody Eats Leadership Program is Monday, September 1, 2024 at 11:59pm ET.
